When I started Bespoke De Sol, I was not just thinking about launching another brand. I wanted to create something that people could genuinely connect with.
Today, we are surrounded by products. New brands appear every day, trends change overnight, and it is easy to get caught up in trying to keep up. Early on, I realized I did not want to build a business that simply followed trends. I wanted to build something with intention.
That has not always been easy.
Like every entrepreneur, I have had days when things did not go as planned. Ideas that sounded great never became reality. There were moments of doubt, unexpected challenges, and countless decisions with no obvious right answer. That is what entrepreneurship really is. It is not about having everything figured out. It is about believing in your vision enough to keep moving forward.
One lesson keeps coming back to me.
People rarely remember a product because it was inexpensive or because it was popular. They remember how it made them feel.
That thought shapes everything we create at Bespoke De Sol. Every design, every detail, and every collection begins with one simple question.
Would I be proud to give this to someone I care about?
If the answer is anything less than an immediate yes, we go back and improve it.
I have also learned that building a business is less about selling and more about listening. Every customer has a story. Every order is part of a celebration, a milestone, a new beginning, or a thoughtful gift. Knowing that something we created becomes part of those moments is a responsibility I never take lightly.
For me, success is not measured only by revenue or the number of orders we receive. Those things matter, but they are not what gets me excited to wake up every morning.
Success is when a customer returns because they trust us.
It is when someone recommends our brand to a friend without being asked.
It is when something we created becomes more than a product. It becomes a memory.
Entrepreneurship has taught me patience, resilience, and humility. It has reminded me that the smallest details often make the biggest difference and that authenticity will always outlast trends.
Bespoke De Sol is still growing, and so am I.
There is so much more to learn, so much more to create, and so many more stories to become a part of. If there is one thing I know for certain, it is this.
I am not just building a business.
